Remyl Coleman

General Manager

Experienced hospitality professional, Remyl Coleman brings a worldly knowledge of restaurant expertise to his role as General Manager at Wynwood’s Beaker & Gray. Remyl’s passion for all things hospitality prompted a respectable career managing a multitude of renowned culinary institutions. 

Coleman stepped right up to the plate, beginning the first full-time management position of his career at John Q’s Steakhouse, a legendary downtown Cleveland eatery. It was here that he was able to get a taste of the responsibilities and daily operations that were involved in the business. In 2009, Remyl joined The Genuine Hospitality Group, making his way to Miami, Florida to take the role as manager at Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink. 

With three years’ experience under his belt, he relocated to the Cayman Island’s in 2012 with The Genuine Hospitality Group to act as General Manager for James Beard award-winning chef, Michael Schwartz’s international outpost, Michael’s Genuine Food & Drink – Grand Cayman. 

Upon his return to the 305, Coleman took the role of Beverage Manager at Stephen Starr's Continental Miami in Miami Beach. He then transitioned to Director of Food & Beverage at YVE Hotel Miami, overseeing all F&B operations for the downtown Miami boutique hotel.
From there, Coleman spent time at Giorgio Rapicavoli’s Coconut Grove restaurant, Glass and Vine.

Now, he joins the Beaker & Gray team – co-owners Brian Nasajon and Ben Potts – to oversee every aspect of operations. Staying true to their inventive, playful, globally-inspired style, Remyl aims to deliver the same level of excellence the team brings to its food and drink.
